Nautical Northwest Magazine and Kenmore Air Announce Distribution Partnership

Kenmore Air, the popular Washington floatplane service company, teams up with Nautical Northwest magazine for inflight and terminal distribution.

Nautical Northwest magazine has entered an inflight and terminal distribution partnership with Washington floatplane service company Kenmore Air.

Nautical Northwest magazine is truly honored to be a strategic distribution partner with Kenmore Air,” said Todd Feinroth, owner/publisher of Nautical Northwest. “Kenmore Air is one of the most iconic brands in the Pacific Northwest and their historic legacy, mission, and target audience aligns perfectly with our mission to be the aquatic companion to Kenmore Air’s customers.”

Kenmore Air flies a reported 85,000 passengers per year and the magazine will be available in every seatback and passenger terminal. This airborne distribution is in addition to the magazine’s core network across hundreds of landbound locations including marinas, chandleries, restaurants, resorts, brokerage offices, and more across the greater Pacific Northwest.

“We’re genuinely excited about this partnership,” said David Gudgel, president of Kenmore Air. “Nautical Northwest speaks to the same sense of curiosity and connection that Kenmore Air was built on in terms of an appreciation for the water, the landscapes, and the culture that define this region. From our perspective, it’s a very natural fit. Many of our guests are boaters, sailors, anglers, or simply people who feel most at home near the water. Sharing a publication that celebrates the maritime character of the Pacific Northwest is extending the conversation we’re already having with our guests.”

“For the broader community, the emergence of a magazine like Nautical Northwest is important,” continued Gudgel. “Regional storytelling matters. It supports local voices, celebrates working waterfronts, and helps preserve the heritage and future of maritime life in the Northwest.”

For Gudgel, Kenmore Air’s story has always been about connecting people to places, each other, and to the landscapes that make the Pacific Northwest what it is.

“We started in 1946 with a single seaplane and a belief that aviation could unlock access to places that water and roads couldn’t easily reach,” said Gudgel. “Nearly 80 years later, that belief still guides us. As we look toward 2026, I’d want people to know that we’re still deeply rooted here, still evolving, and still committed to doing things the right way, safely, thoughtfully and with respect for the communities we serve. Storytelling plays a huge role in that. It’s how history gets passed down, how trust is built, and how brands remain human. Without stories, travel becomes transactional. With them, it becomes meaningful.”
