Italian brand Azimut’s new Magellano 60 will be making its debut at the Seattle Boat Show on January 30th, 2026. Exterior design by Ken Freivokh provides the stylish hull while the structure, a collaboration with Profjord AB, offers compact comfort.
The Magellano 60 features a dual-mode, semi-planing hull that prioritizes stability at low speeds but provides lift and speed when needed. Expect a fuel range of up to 1,000 nautical miles while cruising around 8 knots. And if you need to make it to the islands right away, her top speed is 26 knots. The engine space allows easy access to daily checks on two MAN i6-730 engines. Helm stations on the main deck and flybridge are spare and simple. For excellent maneuverability, bow thrusters, and a joystick bring the boat easily into any home.
Starting on the aft deck, generous settees contain clever adjustable tables that allow meals to transition into wonderful conversations. Settee spaces also fill the flybridge, the bow, and the main cabin. On a rainy day, enjoy the soft gray tones and natural accents inside. Floor to ceiling windows ensure you won’t miss the view. A full galley contains countertops with generous prep space, Miele dishwasher, induction stove, and a wine fridge adds luxury.
Down below, two VIP cabins at the bow and stern contain warmly lit, ensuite heads. A twin cabin on the starboard side would be perfect for kids. Quarters also contain a day head, washer, and dryer amidships. Crew space for one opens from the transom, but leaves room for a hydraulic swim step and a small tender.
